Based on this, the purposes of these case studies are; 1. To study the notion of Compassion in Modern and Theravada Buddhist Psychology with their comparison, 2. To explore the conflict and its cause of arising and, 3. To demonstrate how compassion effectively assists in conflict-resolution. In light of this, the structure of the research is divided into six sections. Practically, compassion can form as the self-compassion and compassion for others. The specific practice of compassion is to share the compassion mind with others through practicing self-compassion. Accordingly, the methodology of the research is considered as a textual study that consults both Primary and secondary sources.
