Abstract
Previous research has shown that most people are not good listeners. Only twenty-five to fifty percent that people remember what is heard. Listening is a skill that is cnsidered as difficult to grow, however, it is a skill that all people can have. This ISP aims to critically examine some components of effective listening skills from Buddha's teachings. Additionally, the sources were collected based on documents from the Dhamma and other relevant information. Findings were organized under four subheadings: listening, listening contributes to learning, the factors of listening, and the benefits of listening from a Buddhist perspective. This investigation produced the factors for the development of effective listening abilities. M.A Shan State Buddhist University 2024
